　Today, I am going to compare Japanese Chris math and New Year with British Chris math and New Year.

In Britain, Christmas Day is a holiday, but Christmas Eve is not. People buy presents for friend and family and hide them, until Christmas Eve. Then they put the presents under the Christmas tree. People usually have parties on Christmas Eve. And spend Christmas day with their family on Christmas day, people go to church, open their presents, eat Christmas lunch, and watch the Queen’s speech. Christmas lunch is usually roast turkey, roast potatoes, vegetables, mince pies and Christmas pudding.

In Japan, Christmas day and Christmas Eve are not holiday. People buy presents for friend and family and hide Christmas tree. This is the same as British. In case of Japan, Christmas dinner is Kentucky Fried Chicken.

In Britain, New Year is a short holiday. Only January fast, is a holiday. People go to parties on New Year’s Eve, stay up until midnight with family and friends. And celebrate New Year with champagne. Although January 2nd is not a holiday. Many people stay home. There is no special food.

In Japan, people don’t go to parties on New Year’s Eve. Ray stay up until midnight with family and friends, and celebrate New Year with Otoso(hot sake), and eat Osechi(special New Years food). On New Year’s Eve, Ray eat Noodle stew.

In both Japan and Britain, people spend the holidays, with family and friends. In Britain, people eat special food, at Chris math, but In Japan, people special food at New Year. In Britain, people give presents at Chris math only, but In Japan, people give presents at Chris math and New Year. In Britain, Chris math is more important, but in Japan, New Year is more important.

My favorite cooking

I like to Japanese omelet. Do you? How do you make Japanese omelet? It’s very simple.

First, break egg, and add glaze, sugar, soy sauce. Second, put thinly oil in heated frying pan. Pour egg into heated frying pan.

Finally, roll and roll, and completion.

"A Helping Hand"

On Tuesday, I read “A Helping Hand”. This story is written by Rob Waring and Maurice Jamall, and the level is a little different for me. This story is about David, Daniela and Tyler. This story takes place now at two beaches. “Jenkins beach” and “Seaview beach”. This story is about they were going to the beach on their bikes. They were going to “Jenkins beach. But Daniela does not like this place. Because It’s near old Jenkins house. Everybody hates him. But David and Tyler did not listen. Then could not see David. Tyler and Daniela hope he’s Okay! They waited and waited for David. But he did not come back.
I did like this story because keep me in suspense while read this story. So I recommend it.

Guy fawks

In November 1605, the infamous Gunpowder Plot took place in which some Catholics plotted to blow up the English Parliament and King James l, on the day set for the king to open Parliament. The men were angry because the king had treated them badly and they didn't like it.
The story is remembered each 5th November when 'Guys' are burned in a celebration known as "Bonfire Night".
